More than 40 residents at Aveo Peninsula Gardens recently enjoyed an Italian themed lunch. Traditional Italian music played while residents enjoyed a delicious feast prepared by the much-loved community chef, Nontas.
Nontas and staff served Osso Buco, an Italian dish which originated from the city of Milan in the late 19th century, on a bed of mashed potatoes and vegetables which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Nontas served a twist on the popular Tiramisu dish for dessert, his very own secret recipe.
Aveo Peninsula Gardens have previously hosted a very successful Greek-themed lunch and look forward to hosting many more flavours of the world.
Everyone praised Nontas with a round of applause and kind words after dinner and left with smiles on their faces and full stomachs.
