Terms and Conditions

1. The promotion is available on units chosen by Aveo Group in its sole discretion and as notified to the prospective resident (Eligible Unit). If the promotion applies, it will be confirmed in writing in the application to reside for the Eligible Unit signed by Aveo Group and the prospective resident;
2. The promotion will be applied by Aveo Group as credit to the resident’s full general services fees for the first 12 months, starting from the ‘commencement date’ of the resident’s residence contract. The promotion is not redeemable for cash;
3. To receive the promotion on the Eligible Unit, the prospective resident must:
   1. Pay a deposit and sign the application to reside and residence contract after 5th March 2026.
   2. Settle the transaction by paying their occupancy payment in respect of the Eligible Unit on or before 15th June 2026.
4. You will only receive a credit to cover the full general services fees payable by you in the first 12 month period. The amount is up to $16,600 and if it is less, you will not be entitled to receive the higher amount or to receive the difference between the higher amount and the actual amount of your service fees.
5. Offer applies to new deposits only and is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

   2. Settle the transaction by paying their occupancy payment in respect of the Eligible Unit on or before 30th June 2026.
4. You will only receive a credit to cover the full general services fees payable by you in the first 6 month period. The amount is up to $5089 and if it is less, you will not be entitled to receive the higher amount or to receive the difference between the higher amount and the actual amount of your service fees.

6. For the purposes of these terms and conditions Aveo Group means Aveo Group Pty Ltd ABN 28 010 729 950 of Level 6, 50 Longland Street, Newstead Qld 4006 and its related bodies corporate.

1. Promoter

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the promoter is Aveo Group Pty Ltd (ABN 28 010 729 950) of Level 11, 35 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (Aveo). Aveo is a subsidiary company of TLCo Pty Ltd (TLC).

2. Eligibility Criteria

Entry into Aveo’s ‘Gift Voucher Giveaway’ (Giveaway) is free of charge. It is open to any person who meets all of the Eligibility Criteria. 

The Eligibility Criteria are as follows. The entrant:

1. attends the Newcastle Hunter Retirement Village and Resort Expo at The South Newcastle Leagues Club, 46 Llewellyn St, Newcastle on Sunday 28th & Monday 29th June 2026 (Expo) and visits the Aveo stall; 
2. completes all required fields, including providing personal information, in an entry form via a tablet available at the Aveo stall;  and
3. submits the entry form by clicking the ‘submit’ button.

A person who a director, officer, manager or employee (and their immediate family, including any spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, parent, stepparent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, uncle or cousin) of Aveo, TLC and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter this Giveaway.

The person entering the Giveaway (Entrant) may only enter once. 

Any person who enters the Giveaway but does not meet all of the Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified from the Giveaway.

Any person who enters the Giveaway and meets all of the Eligibility Criteria (Eligible Entrants) will be eligible for a chance to win the Prize (defined at D below). 

Entry into the Giveaway is deemed acceptance of all of these Terms and Conditions. 

3. Duration of Giveaway

The Giveaway commences at the commencement time of the Expo and ends at the conclusion of the Expo (Giveaway Period).  Applications received outside of the Giveaway Period will not be accepted or considered by Aveo for the purposes of the Giveaway.

4. Prize

One $500 Mastercard gift voucher (Prize) will be awarded to one Winner from Eligible Entrants.  

The Prize may not be substituted, transferred nor redeemed for cash. The Prize is also subject to any of Mastercard’s terms and conditions and Aveo takes no responsibility for those terms and conditions.

5. Winners of the Prize

All Eligible Entrants for the draw will have an equal chance of being drawn and declared the Winner. The method used to draw the Winner will be a random electronic draw.

All Eligible Entrants’ names from the Expo will be compiled (Entrant Pool) and one Eligible Entrant will be drawn at random using the Draw Method from the Entrant Pool and declared the winner (Winner) of the Prize.

The draw will be conducted within 2 business days after the Giveaway Period ends at an Aveo corporate office.

One Winner will be declared and be eligible to receive the Prize.

The Winner will be notified by either telephone or email within 2 business days after the draw by an Aveo representative.

6. Claiming the Prize

To claim the Prize, the Winner will be invited to attend Shortland Waters Retirement Living retirement village, located at 33 Shearwater Drive, Shortland NSW 2307 (Village). 

7. Unclaimed Prize

Aveo will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Winner and invite the Winner to collect the Prize from the Village. 

If Aveo is unable to make contact with the Winner because of incorrect contact details being given or if the Winner does not attend the Village within 30 days after the invitation to attend the Village is sent, then at Aveo’s discretion, Aveo may declare that the first Winner has forfeited the Prize.

If the first Winner is forfeited, a new Eligible Entrant will be drawn from the Entrant Pool and declared the new winner (New Winner). Aveo will then make contact with the New Winner and invite the New Winner to attend the Village to collect the Prize.

If a New Winner is also unable to be contacted by Aveo and/or fails to attend the Village within 30 days of the invitation being sent to them, then Aveo may declare that the New Winner has also forfeited the Prize. In those circumstances, the Giveaway will be repeated until such time as an eligible winner claims the Prize.

8. Privacy

Aveo’s Privacy Policy sets out the principles that Aveo Group Pty Ltd, TLC and its subsidiaries have implemented to deal with the collection, use and disclosure, access to, information held and what purposes. A copy of Aveo’s current Privacy Policy is available on our website at https://www.aveo.com.au/privacy-policy/. 

Aveo, TLC and its subsidiaries will collect the Entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the Giveaway and by entering the Giveaway the Entrant consents to Aveo collecting, using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information in accordance with Aveo’s Privacy Policy.

The Entrant may not participate in the Giveaway if they do not provide the necessary personal information required by the terms of the Giveaway or does not consent to the collection, use and disclosure of that personal information. 

9. Jurisdiction

This Giveaway is conducted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, including the Lotteries and Art Unions Act 1901 (NSW) and the Lotteries and Art Unions Regulation 2014 (NSW).
