Waterside living and dining, first-rate recreation areas and high quality healthcare services are some of the features being brought to market this month as a result of leading retirement provider Aveo Group’s major investment into retirement living in New South Wales.
The first stage of the new $400 million Aveo Bella Vista retirement community, which is located within Mulpha’s $3 billion Norwest project, is set to open its doors this month with construction of the first $75 million ‘Waratah’ stage complete.
Aveo CEO Geoff Grady said the new community represents the future of retirement living and reflects the changing tastes of today’s seniors who are seeking modern, five-star facilities, the best in on-site health care and lifestyle living to ensure they can age in place.
“Retirement attitudes and needs are changing – people entering this stage of their life want to maintain their lifestyle, and Aveo Bella Vista is leading the charge to meet this demand by providing the best retirement living options on the market.
“Being part of the exciting Norwest precinct and incorporating beautiful gardens, a lake and retail space into the community’s design will play an instrumental role in bringing the local community together.
“Aveo Bella Vista’s unrivalled location near Norwest Private Hospital, complemented by our on-site care services, means that we’ll be able to provide the necessary services for seniors to age in place. Our residents will have around-the-clock access to the best possible care as and when they need it,” Mr Grady said.
Sisters Marilyn Blight and Lee Jones recently purchased adjacent apartments within Aveo Bella Vista and are looking forward to living near each other again.
“What attracted me to come into Bella Vista was the difference – it was brand new and central to us both for family …it was a very easy decision for me to make,” Lee said.
“I won’t have a big house to look after, I will have the security as I live on my own… and no more lawns to mow… mine is a one bedroom apartment and it’s unbelievable, it’s so large [and] my bedroom is enormous.”
“I just love this location, it is so close even from where we were – we can still do everything in our surrounds, it’s just wonderful,” Marilyn added.
Geoff Grady added that sales enquiries for the 64 Independent Living Units within Waratah which start from $495,000 was strong, particularly for seniors in the local area.
“Aveo Bella Vista has been well received with more than 750 enquiries to date, predominantly from local retirees in the Hills Shire, Blacktown and Hornsby regions who are considering their next move,” Mr Grady said.
Also included within the integrated retirement community’s first phase are a number of amenities comparable to a 5-star hotel, ranging from a waterfront dining restaurant and bar overlooking the newly formed lake to walking circuits that connect to gardens and fitness stations.
Other on-site additions include a snooker lounge, function rooms and a health and wellness suite which will include GP and allied health services such as podiatry, massage, physiotherapy and clinical care.
Aveo Bella Vista’s sales office is located at Shop 25 of Circa Retail Shopping Complex on the corner of Norbrik Drive and Circa Blvd, Bella Vista.
