Aveo’s hearing support service for seniors across Queensland

Today is World Hearing Day.

Did you know that older Australians with severe hearing loss are five times more likely to develop dementia?

Sadly, however, we’re less likely to treat hearing loss as a serious health issue, and this is causing many older Australians to struggle with issues like communication and social isolation.

Hearing and communication are fundamental to health and well-being, which is why Aveo has partnered with leading audiology and auditory rehabilitation specialists, Hear and Say, to provide integrated care and hearing support services at select Aveo communities.

We're thrilled to be partnering with them in this exciting new initiative. These services have begun to roll out at several of our Queensland communities and this will continue in the coming months.
