A big congratulations to Jack and Ella, residents at Freedom Doncaster, on celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary!
First married in 1960, the couple have lived full and interesting lives.
Ella worked as a secretary for 10 years, which afforded her the opportunity to express her theatrical talents through roles with both the Gilbert and Sulivan, and Elizabethan Opera Companies.
Jack worked as a fitter and turner, marine engineer and then chief engineer at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
After raising three children together and many happy years since, the couple moved together into Freedom Doncaster, settling comfortably amongst friends.
