Residents of Aveo Taringa and Aveo Albany Creek in Brisbane have raised much-needed funds for Australian farmers with a fundraising BBQ recently.
Hit105’s Stav, Abby and Matt asked Brisbane to get involved on Friday, August 17th by dressing like a farmer and donating to fund drought relief. More than 25 residents of Aveo Taringa raised over $700 and over 70 residents at Aveo Albany Creek raised $2,000 to support the cause.
All proceeds go to Rural Aid and Drought Angels which provide assistance and relief for farmers in distress. A great job to all of our residents who were involved in this successful day.
