Rock ‘n’ Roll fever hit Aveo Glynde Lodge on Saturday, 23 September, to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Mother nature presented a beautiful spring afternoon and residents, guests and staff spent the afternoon soaking up the ‘rock and roll’ themed event. There were classic cars, plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers and homemade lemonade to enjoy as well as professional rock and roll dancers who showed off their energetic moves.
Mayor Robert Bria and Councillor Kevin Duke attended the event and the anniversary cake was cut by Mr Don Clay, one of the longest residing residents of the community. It was an anniversary to remember.
