Aveo Durack celebrate Vietnamese culture

The Vietnamese Community Australia Queensland Division came to Aveo Durack this week for a celebration of food and art.

More than 60 guests from the local Vietnamese community joined Aveo Durack residents and staff for the special evening.

Dancing dragons and art were special treats for guests which included Milton Dick, Federal Member for Oxley, and Brisbane City Councillor, Steve Griffiths.

Two local Vietnamese Artists, Ngoc and Ngun displayed their artwork with the help of retired art curator, Ms Audrey Hoffman, including a portrait of Aveo Durack resident and war veteran, Alan Radcliffe.

Many new friendships were made and everybody had a great night.
