Residents and guests at Aveo Domainé joined together yesterday for an Anzac day service led by Chair of the Social Committee, Bert O’Brien. The service included singing of the Lord’s Prayer, Australian National Anthem and a minute silence during playing of the Last Post to pay tribute to the Servicemen and women that served in the many parts of the world. Resident of Aveo Domaine Kevin Mason, and his grandson James, laid a wreath at the ceremony. Residents of the craft group knitted and crocheted the poppies for the sign a few years ago and update it every year. The service was well attended by residents and their families.
