Aveo Banora Point celebrate 25 years

Over 100 residents and staff have celebrated 25 years since the opening of Aveo Banora Point on Thursday 23 November 2017. A delicious cold lunchtime buffet and fresh prawns, provided by Select Dining, drinks and cake were enjoyed by all while listening to stories shared by some of the village’s longest living residents.

Ernestine Brunjes, Elizabeth Scott and George McKinnon were the first residents to move into Aveo Banora Point in 1992 and joined Mark Eagleston, Territory Operations Manager for QLD South, in cutting of the celebratory cake to mark this fantastic occasion. Everyone had a great time and look forward to sharing in many more years to come.
