Tony Randello

Chief Executive Officer

Mr Randello was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer in December 2020. He has over 15 years’ experience in senior roles, including finance, operations and asset management. Mr Randello is a strong advocate for the retirement living sector, serving as Division Vice President of the Retirement Living Council.

Prior to joining Aveo, Mr Randello held the position of Manager Director for the Retirement Living division of Lendlease. Prior to becoming Managing Director, he was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, overseeing the acquisition of 23 villages and the divestment of the NZ retirement living portfolio.

His corporate career also includes senior finance positions at KPMG, Hertz Corporation and Melbourne IT. Mr Randello has a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and is a Chartered Accountant.

Natalie Patterson

Chief Operating Officer

Ms Patterson joined Aveo in November 2020 as Chief Operating Officer. Ms Patterson has 25 years’ experience in key roles with leading organisations including Lendlease and Delfin Limited. More recently, leading the Village Management unit of Lendlease’s Retirement Living division. Ms Patterson has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property Economics) from Queensland University of Technology.

Gary Kordic

Head of Development

Mr Kordic joined Aveo Group in September 2011 as Executive General Manager, Developments Queensland and Victoria. Mr Kordic has been a senior property executive for many years and has extensive experience in the development, consulting and civil construction industries. Mr Kordic previously worked with Sunland Group as Australian Housing and Land Manager. Prior to that Mr Kordic was a director of a civil construction business and director of the Land Development Departments of International Consulting practices.

Justin Lorenz

Head of Community, Northern Region

Mr Lorenz joined Aveo Group in 2007 as General Manager, Corporate Finance and has 20 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, company strategy, valuation and financing through his roles with Aveo and prior investment banking with Credit Suisse. His responsibilities at Aveo have also included managing sales administration, contracting, licensing and compliance functions. Mr Lorenz was the Fund Manager of Retirement Villages Group (RVG), an unlisted retirement village fund, up until its acquisition by Aveo in 2016. Mr Lorenz is also a Director of Aveo Healthcare Limited.

Angela Buckley

Head of Community, Southern Region

Mrs Buckley has over 25 years of experience in leading and directing teams in sales, marketing, and operations within corporate environments and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Mrs Buckley has been with Aveo Group since 2012 and is currently a member of the Victorian Retirement Living Committee. Prior to joining Aveo she worked at Sensis Pty Ltd, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra.

Cameron Levick

Head of Sales and Marketing

Mr Levick has had a successful corporate career working in senior leadership roles and driving transformation in leading Australian organisations as well as some of the world’s largest companies, including Diageo and Vodafone. Joining Aveo Group in 2019, Mr Levick combines considerable expertise in strategic sales and marketing, organisational transformation, brand development, and performance enhancement, with a commitment to premium quality service, breakthrough thinking, inspiring vision, and market-leading results.

Joshua Little

Chief Risk Officer

Mr Little was appointed Chief Risk Officer in January 2020. Joining Aveo Group in 2014, Mr Little was responsible for establishing Aveo’s internal audit, quality and compliance, and risk functions. Mr Little has over 10 years’ experience in the governance, risk and compliance space, having held various risk and assurance roles at Qantas Airways, Woolworths Limited and Caltex Australia. Mr Little holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Commerce and Graduate Certificate in Health Management from UNE, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia

Rolanda Mitchell

Head of People & Culture

Mrs Mitchell joined Aveo Group in May 2020, as Head of People and Culture. She has over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles, with industry experience spanning retail, hospitality, gaming, insurance, FMCG, and most recently the early education sector. Mrs Mitchell has worked with large scale organisations such as Tabcorp, Coca Cola Amatil, and RACQ, in both metropolitan and remote regions, and has a proven track record in delivering people performance outcomes in complex regulatory environments.

James Wiltshire

Head of Resident Experience

Mr Wiltshire brings more than 20 years’ experience in the senior’s living sector across multiple areas of the business. Prior to joining Aveo in 2013, Mr Wiltshire worked with large and small owner-operators to guide the effective sales, operations and transformations of a range of seniors living and aged care communities across Australia. Mr Wiltshire was involved in the development of the very first Retirement Village Resident Satisfaction Survey for the Retirement Villages Associations NSW/ACT and today serves as a member of the Property Council’s NSW Retirement Living Committee. Mr Wiltshire was appointed Aveo’s Head of Resident Experience in July 2020.
