Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living has officially unveiled its transformed community centre, breathing new life into the retirement community in Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
The East Lindfield community was abuzz as residents, guests, and the Aveo team, including Head of Portfolio Management Anthony Ibrahim, gathered to mark the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reopening celebration.
“The revitalised community centre at Lindfield Gardens reflects our dedication to creating spaces that support active, connected lifestyles for residents. It’s more than just a building - it’s the heart of this community,” Anthony said.
After the stylish makeover, the community centre boasts a new lounge and café, dining room, library, salon, media room, bar, plus a modern BBQ and outdoor dining area, designed for residents and their family and friends to enjoy.
Community Manager, Paul Schutte, shared that the residents are loving the new spaces. “It’s great to see the community centre become a go-to spot for catchups, celebrations, and everyday moments again. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”
“It’s changed so much from what it looked like before; it’s a new and modern haven inside, like a new house. We’ve had so many comments from residents that they can’t believe how great it looks inside.”
One standout feature? The new media room. Paul said, “One of the most popular additions is the media room, it’s really taking off. The residents have created a regular Sunday cinema event; there’s even a waiting list to come along!”
Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living offers a tranquil lifestyle nestled amongst native bushland in East Lindfield, overlooking the sparkling reaches of Middle Harbour.
