Our Values

Our Values

We are committed to championing compassionate and inclusive environments where residents, staff, and communities can thrive together. We demonstrate this every day through our values.

Rewards and Benefits

At Aveo you will not only be rewarded with purposeful work, supportive leaders and an inclusive environment but you will also have access to a number of benefits that support and reward you.

Aveo employees have access to a range of lifestyle benefits including 12 weeks’ paid parental leave and discount offers through our partnerships with retail and hospitality groups such as The Good Guys, JB Hifi, Accor Hotels and Miel.

We understand that work is only one part of your life so we provide options for maintaining balance such as hybrid working for our corporate office based employees (minimum of 2 days in the office), the option to purchase additional leave and the ability to work away flexibly (for a fixed period) for eligible employees.

We’re here to support your well-being and offer a range of benefits designed to maintain your health such as ‘All About Me’ leave days, free counselling through our Employee Assistance Program, annual flu vaccines and health screens.

Our corporate discount on Private Health Insurance with Bupa provides you with a number of options for Hospital and Extras cover.

We offer assistance if you are affected by domestic and family violence, including special leave options, counselling services and financial hardship support.

“On top of annual leave, you get two All About Me Days, which is great. I watched Bones and did some washing! To have my manager support that was amazing.”

We’re committed to attracting and employing people that represent the communities we work in. At Aveo, we support our team members regardless of age, disability, race, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, family responsibilities or cultural backgrounds to ensure they feel safe and included at work.

Short-term financial incentives such as annual or quarterly bonuses.

Our annual Aveo National Employee Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the remarkable contributions of our employees who consistently go above and beyond in their roles to support residents to live their best life.

Our ‘Monthly Milestones’ morning teas bring together our teams to celebrate and recognise length of service, birthdays and other special occasions.

Career Development

We care about developing our people and offer multiple avenues for employees to achieve their career goals.

The Aveo Management Development Academy provides growth, education and empowerment for current and aspiring managers at Aveo.

The curriculum is based on training from the Property Council, Retirement Living Council and Blanchard International, as well as customised content from the Aveo Organisational Development team.

Sessions include instructor-led courses and on-demand eLearning on topics as well as our Ignite Leadership series.

We offer an on-demand learning hub that is the home to all things learning, training and development.

Employees can browse the course catalogue to locate on-demand eLearning that can be added to their learning activities and completed at any time.

Our event calendar lists upcoming instructor-led courses such as mandatory training (e.g. First Aid) and development events (e.g. Management Development Academy courses).

Eligible employees can access sponsorship to study a vocational qualification that relates to their role and growth within Aveo, which can support career progression and pathways.
