The Opportunity

Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living is a welcoming retirement living community, set on well-maintained grounds and gardens shaded by tall trees that offers a relaxing environment for our residents. As our weekend Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly hospitality environment to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. This role provides a mix of front-of-house and some back-of-house (kitchen prep) duties, so two days are never the same! 

This is a permanent part-time position working Saturday and Sunday 7.30-3.30pm. Weekend penalty rates apply on both shifts!

You will

  • Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents during lunch or dinner service times
  • Assist in the daily preparation of meals (preparing light salads, sandwiches or prepping food in between service times)
  • Assist with the delivery of food & beverages
  • Complete the set up and pack-down of the dining room 
  • Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)

What you'll bring

  • A friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents!
  • Experience in a hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded)
  • Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
  • Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
