Technology, Governance and Security Manager
My role at Aveo is my first in the retirement living industry. It really moves me. I never realised the immense impact that I can have. With my previous roles in the banking, health and security consulting industries, you're merely providing customers with products or services. But at Aveo, this is the resident's livelihood. It's their personal experience and it's so close to the heart. This job is really different in that sense.
I’m a lifelong learner. At Aveo, I enjoy building on and enhancing my professional capabilities. That way, I’m making the best and full use of my existing technology and security knowledge. My career has always focused on protecting data and it gives me immense contentment to safeguard Aveo's employees and residents' personal and financial information. I can make a difference in people's lives and ensure residents focus on living an enjoyable life. And also that my colleagues can provide their best efforts in delivering superior services to our communities.

I thrive in a challenging environment and every day is different, especially with the prevalence of cyber security threats. I was incredibly proud to create a Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap based on measurable parameters and see it through to execution. These measures ensure our residents are safe when using Smart Technology, I.T. systems or medical equipment, offering them the utmost protection and peace of mind.
I'm passionate about delivering my job to the best of my ability. The teamwork, collaboration and support Aveo provides, helps me and my team to achieve this.
