Residents at Aveo Taringa recently raised over $500 at a pink-themed dinner party in support of Aveo’s charity of choice, Project Pink.
The evening commenced with a glass of pink champagne on arrival before being served an alternate drop of either Baked Salmon with Saffron seafood sauce or Chicken Roulade filled with feta and spinach, wrapped in prosciutto with cream sauce. Each dish was beautifully accompanied by asparagus, baby carrots and fondant potatoes.
Entertainment for the evening was graciously supplied by the resident choir. The choir members dressed in pink for the event and performed some great favourites.
Raffle tickets were sold on the night to raise money for Project Pink and winners received prizes including wine, chocolates, a knitted rug and plants.
Everyone had a great time and look forward to the next fundraising event for Project Pink.
