Retirement Living Options
Our retirement villages:
At Aveo Live Well we pride ourselves on the presentation and aesthetics of all our villages and our ability to offer residents an extensive choice of living styles. Choosing the right type of home is important and you should also consider the variety of recreational and social amenities available at your favoured village.
Our villas, units and apartments feature harmonious design and sturdy construction. Generous floor areas for open-plan living are a priority and throughout every development it’s easy to see the care and attention to detail that has been devoted to the variety of living spaces and outdoor areas which invite convivial dining and entertaining.
Where possible, apartment living also features large, open floor plans, often with generous balconies and terraces. Apartment living allows residents to enjoy all of the benefits of a home, with significantly reduced maintenance and upkeep. And just like villa and unit living, apartment living also benefits from landscaped surroundings and community amenities.
If you need, we can also provide services such as cleaning and meals in one of our Assisted Living Apartments.
Aveo retirement village life:
Each Aveo Live Well retirement village has a dedicated Village Manager and various support staff such as gardening, maintenance and domestic teams, receptionists and chefs. The Village Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the village. This includes health and safety initiatives, liaising with resident committees, welcoming new residents and assisting with coordinating community and social activities. Village Managers pride themselves on the first name’ relationship they share with village residents and further reflect Aveo Live Well's commitment to delivering the highest level of personal attention to residents.
Sharing your new home:
People often ask us if family and friends are able to visit. We assure them that they are very welcome indeed! It’s your home, so you can have friends and family over to visit or even stay a few days whenever you choose. Your visitors are welcome to use all community amenities while in your company.
At an Aveo retirement village, there’s always someone to help. Whatever you need, from gardening or shopping, to meals or domestic services, medication management and personal care – can easily be arranged for you on a fee-for-service basis.
Aveo retirement villages offer residents a wide choice of service options, to ensure specific requirements are met. These can include:
Personal care plans – these are designed to meet specific needs which are carefully assessed beforehand. They can include assistance with personal grooming, showering and dressing and are usually delivered by community care organisations such as Blue Care
Domestic services – general cleaning, bed making and room tidying
Personal laundry services
Meals and guest meals
Nursing services – these can normally be arranged according to need. A resident requiring continuous nursing might be best advised to enter a nursing home
Allied health services – these can also usually be arranged according to need. In most communities various allied healthcare professionals such as podiatrists and physiotherapists visit on a regular basis.
