Fernbank Hosts Pink Ribbon Lunch

The Fernbank retirement village in St Ives recently hosted its annual Pink Ribbon Fund Raiser combined with a live broadcast by Radio Northern Beaches.

The village residents who attended raised a total of $500 through generous donations, a raffle and catering proceeds, with all funds going towards breast cancer research. The year 7 choir from Brigidine College sang for the group and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed their music. Serviced Apartment Business Manager, Julie Bradley and Executive Chef, Nick Hall organised cupcakes and brownies which were enjoyed by all. The Fernbank sales team helped with the lunch and donated a generous hamper which was raffled off on the day.

The event was a great success with village residents and staff coming together to mingle, have fun and support a truly worthy cause. Fernbank hosts a Pink Ribbon Lunch each year in support of breast cancer awareness and research.
