Aveo Lindfield Gardens retirement village have celebrated the 30th anniversary of its opening with a cocktail party.
Walking a glamourous red carpet in the resident’s lounge, over 150 residents, staff and guests were serenaded by the Willoughby Girls High School String Quartet and greeted with canapes and champagne.
Speeches, honouring this unique sense of friendship and community found within Aveo Lindfield Gardens, were delivered by local member Jonathon O’Dea MP, Aveo Executive General Manager Angela Buckley and Aveo Territory Operations Manager of NSW James Wiltshire, as well as by Village Manager Cheryl Simshauser and Chairperson Sue Collins.
The beautiful 30th anniversary cake was cut by Janet Brierley and Molly O’Brien, who have each resided in the village for over 25 years.
Everyone who attended the event had a marvellous time – a fitting celebration for a fabulous 30 years!
