This month Heydon Grove retirement village celebrated the 30th anniversary of its opening with a cocktail party. With residents and guests truly enjoying a night to remember!
The residents of Heydon Grove are renowned for their love of social events, as well as their philanthropy – many volunteering their time to give back to the community they love so dearly.
Speeches honouring this unique sense of friendship and community found within Heydon Grove, were delivered by The Mayor of Mosman, Peter Abelson, and Aveo Territory Operations Manager of NSW, James Wiltshire. The beautiful, flower adorned 30th anniversary cake was cut by Mrs Garrie Wells.
Heydon Grove staff member Bernice Renton, who has been working at the village since 1987 said, “It’s been my pleasure knowing all the residents that have lived at Heydon Grove over time, and I was delighted to be part of this lovely evening and look forward to many years to come.”
Indeed, the event was a fantastic opportunity to reminisce on the many wonderful times shared between friends at Heydon Grove.
