Back by popular demand, The Clayfield retirement community welcomed residents and guests to enjoy classical music performed live by the Four Strings Quartet and a beautiful collection of wine and cheese chosen by wine expert, Darren Davis.
The three part series started on September 28th with classical music from famous ballets performed and wine tasting from an Italian collection. Bad weather didn’t stop the show on October 19th with the Four Strings Quartet performing classics from the opera and a French collection of wines enjoyed in The Carriage House Restaurant function room. The final event on November 16th saw over 100 people enjoy the Four Strings Quartet performing favourites from popular musicals and a collection of sparkling wines in the Courtyard.
Darren Davis from Grape Therapy shared his insider secrets, history of wine from all over the world and answered everyone’s questions while guests enjoyed a glass from his hand-picked favourites.
Lucky door prizes were won by residents and guests which included wine vouchers and discounts at The Carriage House Restaurant.
