We are proud to announce that Aveo Newstead, Brisbane’s first integrated retirement community, has been presented the Award for Design Excellence at the National Retirement Living Awards 2018. The award was presented at a gala ceremony at Parliament House in Canberra on Thursday, 29 November.
The $200M community has been recognised for its world-class community and building typology, combining premium independent living with sophisticated aged care options and first-class lifestyle amenities above a vibrant urban village.
The National Retirement Living Awards identify high achievement across all areas of the retirement living sector, by people and companies helping ensure senior Australians have an enjoyable retirement. Awards are presented in seven categories from nominations across Australia.
In collecting the award, Justin Lorenz, Head of Community Northern Region, spoke of how Aveo Newstead shows the world what is possible within retirement living and spoke of Aveo’s excitement to see this innovative community being embraced by those who now call Aveo Newstead ‘home’.
