Aveo Durack celebrated the launch of their newest stage with an open day street party, complete with live entertainment, VIP guests, and guided tours.
The event, which was held on Saturday July 25, saw locals and residents flock to the village to enjoy the gentle hymns of the village choir, visit the craft stalls, and tour the stunning new units. The open day kick started with the festive sounds of a three-piece Mexican roving band, travelling along the street with a musical cart and a vibrant salsa dancer in a beautiful technicoloured dress. Moorooka Councillor Steve Griffiths also attended the event and greeted residents and attendees before giving a heart-warming speech and cutting the ribbon, signifying the official launch of the new stage. Home proud residents gave visitors a warm welcome, showing off their arts and crafts and boasting about their proud village. As midday approached, attendees gathered by the coffee and food stalls to enjoy an array of gourmet sandwiches, pastries, and beverages.
Aveo would like to thank all of the staff, residents, and Councillor Steve Griffiths for attending and contributing to days success, which was a true testament to Aveo Durack’s welcoming community.
