Just 41 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD is Springfield which at 390ha is twice the land area of the CBD and houses 32,000 people and growing.

Springfield has moved into apartments, with Park Avenue the first under construction. Nearly all of the first 66 are sold and the roof has just gone on, with residents and investors anticipating November settlement. 

The City Centre 10,000 apartment project has a view to building Australia’s largest and most unique integrated transit-orientated community. 

Development in the growing area is ongoing, with Aveo starting work on the first of 2,500 seniors living in units within the precinct called Aveo Springfield. “This will be the biggest, most integrated seniors living campus in Australia,” he says. 

Commercial development director Naren Sinnathamby says what makes Greater Springfield so appealing is it espouses futuristic vision and good old-fashion community values. 

“there is an event on almost every week in the iconic Robelle Domain. Parks, schools, universities, shopping centre and even the gold course are all walking distance from homes.

Apartment living is a strong emerging trend… and we are catering for the next generation. Park Avenue is our pioneering showcase. Stage one features 66 apartments and more than 90 per cent have sold to date and we are in the process of planning stage two.”

A major drawcard to the are is award-winning Orion Lagoon swimming pool at Robelle Domain.
