There are many questions our residents may have regarding Consumer Directed Care (CDC), and the home care packages that are currently available through the Australian Government. Home care package funding can be used to purchase a range of services, which can be individually tailored to meet your health and support preferences. 

From 27 February 2017 there will be some changes to the delivery of home care packages giving you greater choice and flexibility. One significant change will be the ability to choose the provider you want, ensuring a care plan that best suits your needs. 

There will also be greater transparency about funding available under the package of care, and how funds are spent through individualised budgets and monthly statements. These changes will provide a fairer, more flexible way of distributing packages based on individual circumstances.
