Home / Community Life / Aveo The Domain Country Club celebrates 35 years

More than 120 residents, guests and staff of Aveo The Domain Country Club celebrated the community’s 35th anniversary on Friday with a teal and white themed afternoon tea.

Guests were greeted with champagne on arrival which kept flowing all afternoon while everyone enjoyed the peaceful sounds from local harpist, Story Morehouse.

Community Manager, Andrew Keating, along with the president of the residents association, John McCorquodale, and one of the longest staying residents since 1988, Del Furlonger, gave speeches about the community’s history before cutting the cake.

Another resident who has been living at the community since 1988, Des Brooks, spoke about the design concept of the community as he was the architect involved with the design over 35 years ago.

It was a lovely afternoon for reminiscing and a few laughs. Click here to learn more about Aveo The Domain Country Club
