The next chapter at Aveo’s flagship retirement community, The Clayfield, was officially opened on Thursday, 20 July by Federal Member for Brisbane, Trevor Evans and Councillor David McLachlan. Spanning five levels, the new ‘Sellwood’ building features 65 spacious two-bedroom assisted living apartments designed to accommodate residents as they age with additional home and care services.
The Clayfield residents were invited to attend the event, meet and greet our VIP’s and view the new luxury apartments as well as enjoy a few refreshments. The Clayfield’s Integrated Retirement Community Manager, Linda Nicholson, and Village Business Manager, James Hamilton, were also on hand to assist with the official ribbon cutting.
Offering an additional level of home support service, residents at Sellwood can enjoy daily restaurant-quality meals and in-home cleaning and linen services, alongside 24/7 health and medical support from on-site medical and allied health professionals.
Sellwood is a wonderful addition to the community and is perfect for those seniors wanting to maintain their independence, whilst also receiving nursing and care support as well as help with daily tasks like cooking and cleaning.
The launch of Sellwood follows the opening last year of The Clayfield’s very popular Carriage House restaurant and the Health and Wellness Centre. The Clayfield is an established community located in Brisbane, for more click here.
