Staff and residents of Aveo Oak Tree Hill have recently spent the day celebrating Heather Smart’s 30th anniversary of living at the community.
Moving in on March 20 in 1989, Heather has seen many changes within the community but has also made many fond memories.
We asked Heather what her highlights have been over the past 30 years;
“Being involved in the community. Holidays with the residents and day trips from time to time. Participating in activities – Bingo, Rummikub, cards, coffee mornings, playing the piano and Tai Chi which has continued uninterrupted for almost 30 years.”
Heather says if she had her time again she would definitely make the same decision again.
