We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join Aveo as a Care Support Manager. This is a full time position working closely with our Regional Care Managers to support the delivery of care and lifestyle services to residents.

This position will work across Aveo's Retirement Living communities in Victoria as required, backfilling the Care Manager and Clinical Case Manager during periods of leave.

About the role:

  • Professional approach to engagement with all key internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support the onboarding and training of new Care Managers and support roles;
  • Experience in Human Resource Management of staff including RNs, ENs and PCAs;
  • Responsible for ensuring care services comply with regulative and legislative requirements;
  • Provide Care Leadership in line with Aveo's Policy and Procedures to ensure clinical and care governance is achieved;
  • Ensure continuity of care after-hours by participating in the on-call roster

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of community government funding
  • Understanding of care in a community setting
  • Highly developed clinical assessment skills and the ability to lead a care team
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management
  • Registered Nurse Registration with AHPRA (Div 1)
  • Current Police Check clearance
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence and own vehicle

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High focus on and commitment to customer service, choice and control
  • Demonstrated knowledge in relevant industry regulations and legislations, and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commissions Standards
  • Proficient in the use of technology and digital systems
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
