Mr Jonathan O’Dea, the member for Davidson delivered a brief community recognition statement in NSW parliament acknowledging Fernbank retirement village retirement village celebrating 30 years in 2016 which you can read below.

“Fernbank Retirement Village is located in St Ives, within my electorate of Davidson, and is marking its 30 year milestone in 2016. Celebrations commenced with a cocktail party on Thursday 17 March. Fernbank is a unique and picturesque retirement village in a 10-acre garden setting. With a range of independent living units and serviced apartments, Fernbank offers residents an essentially maintenance-free lifestyle in an environment of security, companionship and independence. Its residents also enjoy wonderful local facilities including golf, bowling, shopping centres and medical facilities. Congratulations to Fernbank on reaching its 30-year milestone. I have been privileged to visit Fernbank on a number of occasions as the local member of Parliament. I always enjoy speaking with its residents. I wish them all the best for this year and beyond.”

Thank you for your acknowledgement and kind words Mr O’Dea!
