Earlier this week, the Sackville Grange retirement village in Kew hosted a very special open day featuring celebrated French chef, Gabriel Gate.
Over 65 people attended the event at Sackville Grange including village residents, staff and guests from outside the village. A chef with an international reputation as a cookery author, television presenter and cookery teacher, Gabriel Gate shared his knowledge of French cuisine and wine, and brought his best-selling books for purchase and signing. After Gabriel’s presentation, guests were treated to an exclusive tour of the premier facilities and apartments at Sackville Grange and all were welcome to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea together.
By all accounts, the Sackville Grange open day was a fun and informative event and those who attended thoroughly enjoyed hearing Gabriel Gate’s tales about food and wine in France.
