I came to Veronica Gardens in November 2001 after finding the family home in Richmond too big.
After looking at many places, a nun in Abbotsford recommended that i should come and look at Veronica Gardens as i was tired of living alone. I found that Veronica Gardens was just right for me and i settled in in no time.
Some of the things i like about living here are the feeling of safety, the caring staff, the lovely food but most of all, the company of other residents. I like that the building is so warm and cosy on the cold days and lovely and cool in the summer.
I love the freedom to come and go, be as private as i want but also to join in activities when i feel like it. I really like the little shopping bus that takes me to Northcote Plaza.
My favourite thing is walking around the Village and enjoying the established gardens, the green of the golf course, and walking along the golf walk on the paved pathways. It's so nice to stop and sit in the sun on one of the many garden seats. It makes me feel so good!
