Two local Aveo village managers have been recognised for their ongoing dedication to service excellence at the recent Retirement Living Council Awards. Lisa Sim, Village Manager Aveo Fountain Court in Burwood and Murray Wilson, Village Manager Aveo Kingston Green in Cheltenham were shortlisted for the prestigious Manager of the Year accolade in the Victorian State Awards last week.
The ‘Manager of the Year’ category recognises retirement living operators who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their residents while fostering a happy and harmonious village environment. At the Awards Luncheon Ceremony last week, Lisa Sim was awarded the coveted ‘Runner Up’ position within the Victorian and Tasmanian division.
Michael Morgan, Territory Operations Manager Aveo said he was delighted to see the hard work of both Lisa and Murray recognised with these industry achievements. “All of our Aveo village managers are invaluable in creating a successful and contented village for all the residents that call it home,” Mr Morgan said. “I’m extremely proud to see two key members of the Victorian Aveo team named amongst the best of the best”. “For Lisa and Murray both to be acknowledged as semi-finalists at these highly regarded awards are testament to their continued commitment to their villages and the happiness of those who live there.”
