RVA National Village Manager of the Year 2011 - Leanne Todkill


Manager of the yearCongratulations to Leanne Todkill, Village Manager at Aveo Albany Creek. We are proud to announce her as the 2011 National RVA Village Manager of the Year, recognising her hard work and dedication to Aveo Albany Creek Village.

Ms Todkill has been the Village Manager at Aveo Albany Creek for close to 12 years and says she is driven by the joy of making a difference in the lives of the residents at the village.

Ms Todkill said she is excited about the future at Aveo Albany Creek as the village is going to continue to grow with 24 units expected to be finished by the end of the year and a further 24 in the pipeline.

The state finalists attended the RVA Gala Dinner held on Wednesday 23 November at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Aveo was also represented in the finals by Warwick Kingston, Village Manager at Aveo Minkara Resort in Sydney. Mr Kingston said that Aveo Minkara Resort presents a unique setting where the natural environment blends mane of the village’s great facilities into retirement community life, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the residents.

The finalists of the Village Manager of the Year award are nominated by their residents and are a fine example of the high esteem with which they are held by their village communities.

Each year state winners of the Village Manager of the Year are invited to the RVA National Conference. The finalists are then interviewed during the conference week and the winner announced at the gala dinner held at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne.
