Fees and Charges

There are Costs that form the basis of your agreement with a retirement community.  These costs include:

  • The initial purchase price of your new home
  • A periodic fee that is charged either weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly for the services that you receive at the community
  • A Deferred Management Fee (DMF). The DMF is paid in the future when your Aveo home is resold. It covers the costs involved in providing all the wonderful amenities you enjoy as a resident in your village community.

At Aveo Live Well we recognise that the decision to purchase into a retirement community is a major financial commitment. For this reason we encourage family members and financial advisors to meet with our consultants, who will provide a detailed overview of the Retirement Community Fee Structure and answer any questions you may have. We also encourage all purchasers to obtain independent legal advice before entering into a contract.
