Executive General Manager Retirements

Justin Laboo joined FKP Property Group in August 2005, as head of Corporate Finance, leading the Group's treasury, mergers and acquisitions activities and was appointed as FKP's Executive General Manager Retirements in November 2006.

As Executive General Manager Retirements, Justin leads all aspects of FKP's retirement division.

 

Justin has more than 10 years experience in finance and strategy areas, across the banking, construction and energy industries and holds a Bachelor of Science Mathematics and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the Queensland University of Technology. 

Justin is currently undertaking an Executive MBA with the AGSM.

David Macrae

David Macrae

General Manager Sales & Marketing

David Macrae was appointed General Manager Sales & Marketing in April 2008. He leads a diverse and highly skilled national sales and marketing team, and is responsible for the company's retirement village sales and marketing throughout Australia.
 
David brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held senior management positions in the property and retirement sectors for over 20 years. David is a licensed real estate agent and holds an Advanced Certificate of Real Estate from RMIT.

Sean O'Connell

General Manager Operations

Sean O'Connell is the General Manager Operations and oversees all of the Operational activities at Aveo villages nationwide. This role includes the operational expenditure at the villages as well as the capital investment required to ensure that our villages maintain their appeal to a broad cross section of the community.
 
Sean joined Aveo in December, 2007, and has a track record of success working in a number of industries where clear thinking and operational excellence are required. Having held senior roles in the oil, finance, transport, travel and construction industries, Sean brings a wealth of diversified general management experience to the Aveo team.
Chris Broadhurst

State Sales Manager - Queensland

Chris Broadhurst joined Aveo in February 2006 and is responsible for running our highly professional and successful Qld sales team. Overseeing 25 villages, Chris constantly strives to encourage and enable staff to perform at an optimum level, maintaining Queensland as the number one sales team for FKP. 
 
Chris has more than 15 years experience in banking and finance in areas such as business banking, financial planning and leading diversified sales teams. Chris is a licensed real estate agent, a qualified financial planner and has successfully completed study in the stock market and managed funds with the Securities Institute.
 Jenni Aleman

Jenni Aleman

National Manager - Operations

Jenni Aleman is the National Operations Manager for Victoria and Tasmania and is responsible for the management of Aveo retirement villages and aged care facilities. 

 

Having worked in the administration of retirement villages and aged care facilities for 30 years, the past 12 years as Operations Manager, Jenni has extensive experience in all areas of management.  Jenni has a strong commitment to ensuring the highest  standards of services, facilities and care are provided to residents and that staff work in a professional, caring and supportive environment.  

 

Jenni has managed Bodies Corporate / Owners Corporations  in  QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS and holds a Strata Managing Agent’s license in NSW.

Andrew Macintosh

Andrew Macintosh

National Manager - Operations

As National Operations Manager Andrew is responsible for the management of the Queensland retirement villages and nursing homes.

 

Andrew has an extensive senior management background including pharmaceuticals (CSL Ltd); liquor (Castlemaine Perkins Ltd) and retail pharmacy (Terry White Chemists). He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (biomedical), a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration.

 

 Andrew is Chairman of the Retirement Living Committee and a member of the council of Aged Care Queensland Inc; and a director of the Retirement Villages Association Ltd

Titia Rutten

Titia Rutten

National Manager - Operations

Titia Rutten combines a wealth of practical, administrative and management skills in her role as the National Operations Manager for South Australia and Western Australia, where she is responsible for the management of 16 Aveo retirement villages with both Independent Living and Serviced Apartment facilities. With the support of the state operations team, Titia ensures the highest standards of services and facilities are delivered to Aveo residents.

 

For over 35 years Titia has built her career around aged care. A former Director of Nursing, she is qualified as a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree and a Gerontic Certificate.
